Buyer’s steps for FFL transfers from online firearm sales.
- First, purchase a firearm from an online source.
- Then, receive paid in full confirmation.
- Next, notify The Gun Doctor with contact information and also, purchase verification.
- The Gun Doctor then, notifies buyer when firearm is available for pick up.
- In order to receive firearm, federal law requires buyer to complete Firearm Transaction Record, form 4473.
Steps for Firearm transfers for private US citizens.
- First, Contact us or your local FFL dealer.
- If the firearm is being transferred to SC, notify The Gun Doctor of shipment.
- Receiver is then notified when firearm is available for pick up from our store.
- Then, receiver must complete Firearm Transaction Record, form 4473. See sample form here: https://www.atf.gov
- A transfer fee is charged, accordingly.
