Only Federal Firearms Licensed (FFL) Dealers permitted to transfer firearms from state to state. Person receiving a firearm at The Gun Doctor must be 21 or older, a SC citizen or active duty military.

We are a Type 1, Class 3 Federal Firearms Licensed (FFL) Dealer.

Buyer’s steps for FFL transfers from online firearm sales.
  1. First, purchase a firearm from an online source.
  2. Then, receive paid in full confirmation.
  3. Next, notify The Gun Doctor with contact information and also, purchase verification.
  4. The Gun Doctor then, notifies buyer when firearm is available for pick up.
  5. In order to receive firearm, federal law requires buyer to complete Firearm Transaction Record, form 4473.

 

Steps for Firearm transfers for private US citizens.
  1. First, Contact us or your local FFL dealer.
  2. If the firearm is being transferred to SC, notify The Gun Doctor of shipment.
  3.  Receiver is then notified when firearm is available for pick up from our store.
  4. Then, receiver must complete Firearm Transaction Record, form 4473. See sample form here: https://www.atf.gov
  5. A transfer fee is charged, accordingly.
